I had never seen the micro mini scooters before.On Australia Day this year we were visiting some friends in Sydney & they had a couple lying around in the back yard.My 18 month old daughter just picked one up & started riding ,she had never been on a scooter before.She was pushing & gliding around on the flat ground then whenwe got home i ordered her a pink micro mini & on her second day she was riding down our drive way which has a bit of a slope & shes ripping.

The mini micro is a wonderful device! Can I say it has been lifechanging? Our daughter was almost four when she got it, and definitely not an athletic kid - in fact kinda lagging in the physical development area. Always wanting to be carried or pushed in the pram. Since getting the scooter the pram has not been used once! She got the basics of using the scooter immediately, and in an hour or two was confidently going up and down the local cricket pitch. Now we go on longer walks than we were ever able to, with her scootering up ahead. I need to help her up and down the bigger hills, but compared to pushing a pram it is fine.
Recently I accidently left the scooter on the nature strip as we were getting back into the car. It was luckily picked up by a mum who's child also has one, as she knew how precious it would be to the child who owned it - she left her details at the local police station so we were able to claim it, yay! She said her son loved his one so much as well, and that it had been a similarly huge step forward for him as well.
We love our mini micro and would highly recommend them for any preschooler.
